ADF Senior Design Engineer Induction Course for 2012

DGTA conducts an annual SDE / DSDE Induction Course.  Scheduled dates for the 2012 SDE/DSDE Induction Course are Monday 19th March 2012 to Tuesday 20th March 2012. The SDE / DSDE Induction Course will be held at Building L474 Theatrette RAAF Base Williams, Melbourne.

Eligibility

Course nominations are limited to newly appointed or identified SDE or DSDE positions.
DEs should not apply unless they have SDE endorsement and a confirmed DSDE position.

Registration

Nominations for the 2012 SDE Induction Course are open. Please send the following information for each person attending the Induction Course to the Induction Course Coordinator at sde.induction@defence.gov.au:

Name;
PMKeyS number (if applicable);
contact details (email, telephone, fax, mobile);
AEO (please also include sponsor AEO if from a Commercial AEO);
current level of EA (or planned EA for 2013);
any special dietary requirements; and
(participants must organise their own travel and accommodation).

Guest Speakers

Guest Speakers are requested to provide a short biography to the Induction Course Coordinator via email on sde.induction@defence.gov.au and their presentations in MS PowerPoint® for (PC version).

Additional Information

Additional information will be contained in the 2012 SDE Induction Course Administrative Instruction (ADMININST) once released - note agenda topics and presenters may vary.

Pre-course Assignments

There are pre-course assignments, details are contained within the administration instruction.

Closing Date for Registration

Nominations close Monday 27th February 2012.  A confirmation e-mail will be provided immediately following the closing date to all nominees.

Course Venue/Location

The Induction Course will be held in the ground floor theatrette of building L474 at RAAF Williams (Laverton).

Time

The Induction Course commencement time is normally 0830hrs. .

Cost

The cost of travel, accommodation and incidentals are the responsibility of the attendee's organisation. Registration for the SDE Induction Course is free.  Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.

Accommodation

DGTA has reserved some rooms at RAAF Williams for personnel attending the SDE Induction Course who may wish to use on-base accommodation.
