Chief of Army announces investigation into allegations of unacceptable behaviour
Chief of Army, Lieutenant General David Morrison, has addressed the media following allegations of unacceptable behaviour by serving members of the ADF.
LTGEN Morrison announced that three personnel had been suspended from duty following investigations into allegedly producing and distributing material demeaning women.
He is considering suspension of a number of other personnel in connection with the allegations.
The allegations relate to email and images distributed from 2010 using the Defence computer network and the public internet.
LTGEN Morrison said that the investigations into the allegations were ongoing, and were being conducted by Australian Defence Force Investigative Service and NSW Police.
