Well, think again - because two major studies into the Cadet contribution to Defence show that the Australian Defence Force Cadets (ADFC) provide a cost effective, intelligent, well-educated and talented recruitment pool for Defence that "now needs to be recognised and rewarded" according to the Parliamentary Secretary for Defence, Ms Teresa Gambaro.

Unacceptable behaviour: Not on, say the CDF and Secretary

CDF: On the first day of my appointment as Chief of the Defence Force (CDF) I drew a line in the sand. I publicly stated that neither I nor my chiefs would tolerate harassment or bullying of any sort.
