On the 23 May 2005, a combined team of ten personnel (5 RAAF and 5 Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) traveled to Tembagapura, Papua (Indonesia) to conduct the final recovery of the human remains from RAAF Dakota A65-61. The Aussie Diggers in Al Muthanna, now known as - THE THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER have done themselves proud by defeating their British counterparts in the first match of the Desert ASHES series.
