Initially the Defence Graduate Development Program appealed to me, as I sort to continue my professional career in a broad and unique work based environment. Undertaking the Defence Graduate Development Program was a rewarding step and it allowed me to apply knowledge gained throughout my degree and implement it in the work place, validating the hard work and time put into study.
Graduates are rewarded by seeing actual results from their personal work as well as receiving recognition from senior members of staff.
The program provide extra training with a great opportunity to gain vast amounts of professional development in areas you previously would not have thought existed. Being a graduate has provided me with greater understanding of the broader organization allowing me to build valuable work relationships and gain experience in key work activities.If you want to develop a broad range of abilities or are uncertain what specific area you want to work in the Defence Graduate Development Program will assist you in taking the next major step in your career.
