Op slipper 1RAR Band performs in the MEAO
Australian soldiers at Camp Holland in Afghanistan were far away from loved ones for Christmas but that didn't stop them from celebrating the festive season.
The base was decorated with Christmas trees, church services were offered and the 1st Battalion Band performed carols.
Telephones and the internet brought family and friends a little bit closer, bringing smiles to the faces of the diggers.
