Chrisco hasn't just answered the call from these lonely troops. Working closely with the Australian Defence Force, it has The Australian Defence Force's Chief of the Joint Operations Command, Lieutenant General Mark Evans, said the generosity of the Australian public and corporate sector is very welcome. “Our troops work hard in dangerous and challenging environments and they take great comfort in knowing that the Australian community is supporting them. Receiving these gifts from Chrisco is a great morale boost at a time when deployed members will be missing their families most,” he said. On Monday 14 December, hampers bound for the Solomon Islands will fly out from Brisbane with the Timor shipment departing from the RAAF base in Darwin. The Afghanistan delivery leaves Sydney via aircraft on Tuesday 15 December.
