Op Slipper Chrisco

Australian soldiers at Camp Holland in Afghanistan are far away from loved ones for Christmas but that doesn't stop them from celebrating the festive season.

The base has been decorated with Christmas trees and thanks to the Aussies deployed on Op Herrick with the British, some hampers were delivered to Camp Holland.

The soldiers asked for the Christmas hampers to brighten up their celebrations and a number of the packages from Chrisco were sent to those serving all over Afghanistan.
