  • Want to learn how to use a financial management system?

  • Want to understand a balance sheet?

The Chief Finance Officer Group has a program for you!

Currently, the Chief Finance Officer Group (CFOG) has 45 financial management courses on offer for every business requirement and individual need, level and learning style.

By the end of 2007, that figure will grow to 50, and then 60 in 2008.

In the last two years, more than 30,000 people have received financial management training, with 75 percent of that training being conducted in locations outside Canberra.

Whatever your financial management needs, the CFOG has a program suited to your level and business requirements and in a location near you.

These include:

  • Introductory training on systems and policy
  • Finance and business e-learning
  • Certificate IV level training in finance and business
  • Diploma level qualifications in finance and business
  • Graduate Certificate level qualifications in finance and business

The CFOG’s courses are guided by public service standards to ensure portability across the government sector.

The CFOG’s financial management skilling program is recognised as leading edge and is now being adapted by other government agencies.
