Mr Phillip Prior
Phillip Prior is the Chief Finance Officer of the Department of Defence.
Phillip joined the Department on 9 January 2006.
Before that, Phillip was with the Department of Finance from 1997, where he was involved in accounting and budgeting policy work as well as a number of operational activities.
From 2001 to 2006, Phillip was a member of the Financial Reporting Council. During that time he was the Chair of the Nominations Committee and a member of the Working Group which oversaw the development of the Simpkins Report on Sector Neutrality.
Phillip is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Applied Economics and a Master of Business Administration. |
