Office of Interoperabillity

On 1 July 2004 the Office of Interoperability was established by CDF / SEC Joint Directive 23/04 (PDF) within the Capability Systems Division, Capability Development Group (CDG).

Broadly, interoperability issues include joint, combined and coalitions operations, activities, and information sharing policies. Considering that broad nature of interoperability DGI is also responsive to the Chief of Joint Operations for progressing interoperability issues arising from the warfighters' perspective. Maintaining close contact with Strategy Group Divisions is also necessary considering current and emerging strategic policy issues effecting interoperability.
