Simulation Minor Projects

The Australian Defence Simulation Office manages the Defence Simulation Minor Projects Program. This program was established in FY 04/05 with the objective to sponsor the development and acquisition of simulations in the joint environment (ie those areas of simulation that cross Defence Group boundaries). The Minors Program has three major themes:

• Emerging Technologies - the transition of new technologies from the laboratory to the Defence user.
• Joint Simulation Capabilities - the development of simulations that support the joint activities of the ADF.
• Data to Support Simulation - the acquisition of data/tools to support the expansion of simulation capabilities within Defence through new/improved data (ie geospatial data).
