Who We are
Defence consists of the Australian Defence Force—members of the Navy, Army and Air Force—and civilians in the Australian Public Service. The organisational structure reflects Defence's six Departmental outcomes. Each output executive (in Chart 1.0) aligns with an outcome. The Enabling Executives provide the equipment, infrastructure and support that underpin Defence's ability to deliver its outcomes. The Support Executives provide specialist advice and support to the Government and Defence to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Defence and the development of out future capability. Defence administers outcome seven with the Defence Housing Authority. The organisational structure is set out in Chart 1.0.
