Enterprise Risk Management
The Defence Committee changed risk management reporting arrangements during 2005, requesting that Defence Groups and Services report to the Inspector-General whenever changes in their risks warranted it. A summary of each Group's business practices for managing and reporting risk against each of the Key Result Areas is currently held by the Inspector-General Division. No Group or Service provided reports on changes to their risk profiles throughout the reporting period.
The Defence Risk Management Plan and supporting documentation is currently being reviewed and a Defence Enterprise Risk Management Strategy is also being developed to ensure Defence keeps abreast with the latest risk management industry tools, techniques and technologies.
