Outcome Performance

Defence's achievements against seven outcomes are measured against the targets set by the Government for each of the supporting outputs.

Australian soldiers from the 2nd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment based in Townsville conduct a street patrol in Baghdad in mid-2003. The soldiers were part of the ongoing security detachment deployed to Iraq to provide security for Australian Government personnel working in Baghdad.
