F-111s during Exercise Bersama Padu

Exercise Bersama Padu 2006, an annual Five Power Defence Arrangement (FPDA) Exercise, will be held from 4 Sept 2006 until 24 Sept 2006. This year's exercise will be conducted off the east coast of Malaysia.

Exercise Bersama Padu 2006 will provide an important opportunity for the men and women of the RAAF to train with a multinational force that will include Air Force and Navy representatives from the United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand.

The exercise scenario will focus on both the operational and tactical levels of warfare, as well as providing RAAF personnel with a valuable learning experience operating in a multinational environment
