The 4th  Brigade

The 4th Brigade is a Part-Time Army (Reserve) formation with its headquarters situated at Simpson Barracks, Macleod in Melbourne. With Armour, Artillery, Infantry, Engineers, Signals and Logistic & Support units located around metropolitan and country Victoria.

The 4th Brigade comprises of the following units:

The 4th Brigade is part of the 2nd Division.

The 2nd Division

The 2nd Division (2 Div), which has its Headquarters in Sydney, has Brigades in NSW, ACT, Victoria, WA, SA and Tasmania. The five brigades in 2 Div contain most of the Australian Army's Part-Time elements (usually referred to as the Army Reserve). Other part-time units located in Qld and NT are integrated within the 1st Division (1 Div) units which contains the bulk of the Regular Army.
