ADF MotorCycle Safety Awareness Project conducts Defensive Riding Courses for 30 personnel at a time. There is a compulsory theory component on a night prior to the riding phase.

OFF ROAD MOTORCYCLE SAFETY AWARENESS COURSE
Nominations are called for the upcoming Off Road Motorcycle Safety Awareness Course planned for 31 July to the 01 August 2008. The course will be conducted by Pro-Art. The course location and exact timings are TBA.
1. At this stage there will only be one course for the remainder of 2008. A second course may be offered over the following two days if there are enough nominations. Preferred numbers are 25 members, up to a Maximum of 30 members.

3. This course is not available to Defence Members at Townsville who undertook the On Road Motorcycle Safety Awareness Course in Mar/Apr 2008, if you believe you have extenuating circumstances please liaise directly with Mr. Ken Purbrick.
4. Reservists are entitled to the course IAW DI(G) 55-3 Para 4 b (2) a member of the Reserves who:
- Is rendering continuous full-time service; or
