Role
DEV Wing is responsible for implementing the Training Adviser responsibilities of the design, analysis and validation of RACMP individual training; the development of policy, procedures and content in respect to RACMP competencies, TTA, organisation, equipment, doctrine development and Trade Management issues.

Training Development
Training Development Section is responsible for the review of all RACMP specific DPTC Training Management Plans and for the validation of all training conducted by DPTC (excluding joint service courses).
The Section is also responsible for the development and management of RACMP RCC / RPL policy and the development of nationally aligned competencies within RACMP training. These lead to the awarding of civilian qualifications for courses conducted at DPTC.

Doctrine Development
Doctrine Development Section is responsible for the production of RACMP Doctrine and the management of the RACMP Doctrine hierarchy.
The section is also responsible for coordinating RACMP input into Army and Defence doctrine where RACMP has an interest or representation. Links to all relevant RACMP, Army and Defence doctrine can be found in the documents and publications pages of this web site.
The SO3 Doctrine is also supported by the LWDC out posted SO2 Doctrine.

Trade & Career Management
The Trade and Career Management Section is responsible for the management of all RACMP Trade and Career issues.
This includes the RACMP Manual of Army Employment (MAE) and the Employment Category Standing Orders (ESCO). These documents are used by career managers to effectively manage RACMP Officer and NCO careers. A copy of the latest MAE and ESCOs can be found in the documents section of this web site.
Joint Training Development Team (TDT)
The TDT is a Tri-service team, responsible for the development of Joint Service Police Training within the ADF and was raised under the auspices of the Security Police Training Advisory Group (SECPOL TAG). It has responsibility for the development and validation of the Service Police Basic Course, Investigator Qualification Course and is currently researching other areas of policing within the ADF which may be suitable for conducting as Joint training.
