Introduction

Welcome to the Directorate of Reserves - Army.

The Army Reserve has a deserved, proud history. Over recent times, constraints on employment and lack of clear tasks to contribute to Army's mission have constrained the utility of this critical national asset. The future Army Reserve will provide a relevant capability, employable in all national contingencies. The Army Reserve will provide key components to this hardened and networked force and will be critical to its success.

This web site provides an outline of how the Army Reserve will contribute to the Hardened and Networked Army.
