Welcome to the Army Reserve Record of Service Site

The information and advice on this site is provided to assist members in sourcing evidence of their Reserve service for their Chain of Command in order to apply for the 01 July 2008 Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme (DHOAS).

Electronic records are from Financial Year (FY) 1991-92 to the end of last month, this year. The electronic records are updated by the 10th day of the current month to reflect the previous month's data.

Army Reserve Record of Service Site Data

Data to ascertain a Reserve member's service is distributed over a number of systems within Defence and is not amalgamated in a single source environment.
Pay Data (Army Reserve Training Salary - ARTS Data) from FY 1991/92 until the present time is available from the following link:
Army Reserve Training Salary Database Link

Why are there blanks, '0', or incorrect days recorded on my ARTS Record ?

There may be any number of reasons why your ARTS record may not reflect what you believe you attended during a particular Financial Year. The most common reasons for your ARTS record not reflecting your true attendance are:
a. You may have done some CFTS in a particular FY. CFTS salaries are not recorded on the CENRESPAYII system and are therefore not reflected in the ARTS database. CFTS salary details can be obtained from DEFPAC (Contact details below)
b. Many members at Star Rank have been paid, in the past, a consolidated rate of pay allowance. Although the allowance is recorded in CENRESPAYII, the number of days served by the member is not recorded. DGPERS-A is able to provide a statement of 'Effective Service' upon request from the effected members.

Pay Data from FY 1981/82 until FY 1990/91 may be obtained by contacting:
DEFPAC or faxed to Customer Service section on (03) 92827885.

The request should include:
a. Member's Regimental number/PMKEYS;
b. Name (in full);
c. Reason for request of information e.g. (DHOAS);
d. The period of service they need; and
e. The names of the Units the member belonged to during the period they are requesting information for.

DEFPAC also require the enquirer to specify how they want the information returned to them, e.g. email, post or fax and provide these details.

Can I use Pay Data to apply for Honours and Awards related to 'time in service' such as Long Service Awards?

Any evidence that you supply to the Honours and Awards area of Defence may assist in supporting your claim for an Honour or Award. Members are reminded that the data presented in relation to the DHOAS is based upon attendance during a Financial Year and not from the Aniversary of a member joining the Army. In short, information from this site may provide an indication of your Service but is not designed to provide a record of service based on your date of enlistment (Anniversary Date).
