Commander's welcome
Welcome to the SUR website. If you are interested in becoming a future leader or shaping the future leaders of New South Wales and Australia, then SUR is the place for you.
A brief trip through our history will show you that this is no idle boast. From the Antarctic explorer Mawson, High Court Judge Sir Victor Windyer, former premier of New South Wales Sir Eric Willis and former leader of the New South Wales Upper House Max Willis as well as Sir Rodan Cutler awarded the Victoria Cross during the Second World War, to the current Head of Capability for the Defence Force LTGEN Hurley, to name but a very few, former members of the Regiment have acted and continue to act as movers and shakers.
SUR's main effort is the preparation of SCDTs for graduation from RMC. In order to achieve this we require a team of highly skilled and motivated officers, warrant officers, SNCOs, soldiers and SCDTs. If you are interested in making a contribution to the future of Australia as part of the SUR team, go to the contacts page on this website and call the ADJT.
