RFSU Patrolman

Within a Regional Force Surveillance Unit (RFSU), the infantryman is primarily employed as an RFSU Patrolman. As a patrolman he will be trained and employed as a driver, small craft handler, patrol medic or signaller within a six-man patrol. RFSU patrols deploy to remote locations in Australia's north where their function is to conduct surveillance of nominated targets.
Duties
Employment Training All RFSU recruits complete Common Induction Training or an RFSU Induction Course. Members of the Surveillance Squadrons then attend the RFSU Basic Patrol Course. Soldiers from Operational Support Squadron and Regimental Headquarters complete Initial Employment Training (IET) specific to their trades.
Employment Location RFSU soldiers can be posted to Western Australia, Northern Territory or Queensland to one of the three RFSU. |
