The HNDLR PETRL is an Army Reserve soldier who is responsible for the deployment, construction, operation and maintenance of a range of petroleum, oils and lubricants (POL), storage and handling facilities. This includes the operation of 40/50 mm field and static POL equipment at kerbside refueling points, the limited testing and analysis of POL products, and the storage, packaging and disposal of Dangerous Goods (DG), including hazardous materials, but excluding DG Class 1 (Ammunition and Explosives). Education Requirements Completion of Australian Year nine education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics. |
Employment Training IET HNDLR PETRL Module 1 and 2 Course: 16 days each conducted at ALTC, Bandiana, Victoria. Employment Location The HNDLR PETRL is an ARes soldier employed in first and second line Combat Service Support units throughout the Army. Pay The pay levels for this employment are:
