The Soldier Career Management Agency (SCMA) is a unit in its own right. SCMA is an integrated organisation comprising military and civilian members, and is part of Career Management- Army, Army Headquarters (AHQ).
Plans Appointments and Selections Group
The Plans Appointments and Selection Group is responsible for:
- Business Process Management
- Personnel Advisory Committee (PAC)
- Training and Courses
- Selection Boards
- Army Warrant Officer Commissioning Scheme (AWOCS)
- Unit Admin functions within SCMA
- Document Loading
- Dossier Image Management
- MRO
Career Management Group
The role of CM GP is to ensure the Army's Regular Other Ranks are employed in positions that achieve CA's priorities, fully exploit their abilities, train them for more responsibility, & meet career and family expectations.
Personnel Management Group
Manage the Cradle to grave personnel dimension of capability. PM Gp consists of two major sections
Central Army Records Office
Located in Victoria Barracks Melbourne, the third functional area of SCMA represents Army's commitment to our ex-serving community. By maintaining and interpreting personnel files for all members of the Australian Army that have served since 1947.
