1st Field Regiment (1 FD Regt)
The Regiment provides artillery fire to the units of the 7th Brigade and is also responsible for coordinating the firepower of attack aircraft, helicopter gunships and naval vessels. You can join the 1st Field Regiment as a part-time or regular soldier and be part of a close, well-trained team that provides artillery fire support and firepower coordination.

2nd Combat Engineer Regiment (2 CER)
Soldiers who are in 2 CER have served in United Nations deployments overseas, including Cambodia, Somalia, Rwanda and East Timor. Reserve members of 2 CER serve in all facets of engineer work from clearing landmines and booby traps, destroying targets using explosives, constructing bridges, supplying drinkable water, operating water craft, conducting search operations for explosive devices and operating heavy earth-moving equipment. Most skills learnt are recognised in the civilian workplace.

2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (2/14 LHR)
The 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (QMI) traces its origins to 1860 and has a record of active service dating from the Boer War in 1899 to recent operations in East Timor. Currently equipped with the M113 Light Reconnaissance Vehicle the unit will begin to use the Australian Light Armoured Vehicle (ASLAV - 25) from mid-2004. Once equiped the regiment will have the only Army Reserve element to operate the new vehicle and it will provide a capable and technologically advanced platform for today's Light Horsemen to serve in.

25/49th Battalion Royal Queensland Regiment (25/49 RQR)
The 25/49th Battalion (25/49 RQR) was raised in 1997 by linking the 25th and 49th Battalions together to form one unit. The history of the individual units dates back to before WW1. The Battalion has a mix of full-time and part-time soldiers, including an enhanced reserve unit that has short periods of intense training that is particularly suited to students. The Battalion uses technologically advanced equipment such as night vision goggles and weapon sights, global positioning navigation systems and laser training simulation systems.

6th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment (6 RAR)
The 6th Battalion was first raised at Enoggera on the 6th of June 1965. The Battalion has served twice in Vietnam and has recently served in East Timor and currently has members serving in Iraq. The Battalion was involved in the famous battle of Long Tan and one of its companies received the United States Presidential Distinguished Unit Citation.

The 7th Command Support Regiment provides the communications, information systems and administrative support of the Brigade Commander and staff for the effective command and control of the Brigade.

7th Combat Services Support Battalion (7 CSSB)
The 7th Combat Services Support Battalion has the important role of providing support to all of the 7th Brigade units in a number of administrative and logistic areas. 7 CSSB includes a Headquarters, Administration, Transport, Health, Workshop and Supply Companies. Each Company carries out different tasks that range from transporting heavy machinery, treating medical and dental problems, repairing and issuing equipment for the soldiers and looking after their daily needs.

9th Battalion Royal Queensland Regiment (9 RQR)
The 9th Battalion (9 RQR) soldiers have been involved in operations from Gallipoli to East Timor. The 9th Battalion is a light infantry battalion and some of the skills you can learn include navigation, first aid, weapon handling, communications, explosive handling, the use of night vision equipment and driving a range of military vehicles. The training and experience you receive will develop your confidence, management skills and personal fitness.
