What does Recruit Training involve?
Recruit training is your initial training. Here you will be trained in the basic skills of a soldier. You will learn how to work effectively and efficiently as a member of the Australian Army.
What is Gap Training?
Gap training is the final stage of your recruit training and consists of the essential skills of first aid and navigation. Every Recruit needs to complete this training in order to fulfill the requirements of a member of the Army Reserve.
2008 Gap Training Course Dates
Navigation Courses
Navigation lead up training commences runs from 0800 - 1600 on the Sunday prior to the course. Lead up training needs to be completed in order to complete the course. Navigation courses commence at 1900 on Fri and conclude at 1600 on Sunday. The courses are live-in. Report to the Brigade Recruiting Cell.
