Army Museum of New South Wales, Victoria Barracks, Sydney




Welcome to the Army Museum of New South Wales, located within Victoria Barracks, Sydney.

The Museum's display includes a wide range of weapons, uniforms, medals and other items associated with the Army in New South Wales, from the British colonial units which arrived with the First Fleet in 1788 to the current New South Wales Regiments of the Australian Army.

The Museum is open to the public 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursdays, and 10AM to 4:00 PM Sundays. Guided tours of the Commonwealth Heritage Listed barracks buildings may also be taken on Thursdays from 10:00AM.

The Australian Army Band Sydney plays at 10:00 AM on selected Thursdays and can be enjoyed in conjunction with a tour of the Barracks. Contact the Army Museum for details.
