Responsibilities
Officer Career Management Section
OCM section is responsible for the personnel management of Officers and includes the following areas:
- Manage, plan and provide career advice for officers from 2LT to MAJ
- Postings, transfers, promotion and resignations
- Identify and plan training and course requirements
- Selection boards
- Evaluation reports
- Army in Service Commissioning
- Medical Employment Classification Review Board
- Officer posting plans
- Arrange PAC for 2LT to MAJ
- Maintain Officer Pers files
- Manage Inactive Officers
Soldier Career Management (SCM) Section
Responsibilities
Soldier Career Management Section
SCM Section is responsible for the Personnel management of soldiers from PTE to W01 and includes the following areas:
- Maintain pers files on ARES OR's
- Manage evaluation reports
- Annual assessment and promotion review PAC
- Assist CO and Corps Advisers on personnel management
- Oversee career planning for fully qualified CPL and above
- Promote and post SGT's and above
- Posting of OR's between units and regions
- Management of Inactive Reserves members
- Monitor medical classifications
- Monitor retirement dates and finalise discharges
