Specific Training
Within Defence there is a requirement to conduct training in a number of areas either annually or on posting to a specific position. Depending on the unit, this may be conducted centrally during an induction training period or there may be a requirement to conduct some of this training on-line, or a combination of both.

| Land Engineering Agency | The Land Engineering Agency (LEA) in Melbourne is seeking the services of a qualified RAAOC ECN 296/8 at the rank of either SGT/WO2/WO1 to undertake a range of asset management duties on DA50 work. We can offer 100 days service and there may be potential to offer more days. |
| The duties involved include rationalisation and review of the holdings of assets within the agency. This will commence with a physical audit of assets and undertaking work to ensure that they are correctly accounted for on either SDSS or ROMAN. | |
| LEA also holds many assets against a special to type database (Pinnacle) This database is to be reviewed and closed with all assets being transferred to either ROMAN or SDSS. | |
| Additionally the member shall be required to manage the existing LEA stocktake and spotcheck program as well as providing general asset management and purchasing advice. | |
| The position shall be responsible to the agency Commercial Manager and is available for immediate commencement. Attendance is flexible and can be negotiated at either 3,4 or 5 days per week. | |
| The member shall have a high standard of proficiency on SDSS and an understanding of ROMAN and be very familiar with the supply chain aspects of asset management, stocktaking and the SDSS controls framework. | |

| The Enclosed Light Armament Facility (ELAF) is an indoors weapons range used to undertake small arms testing and trials. The member will be required to carry out a wide range of small arms maintenance and assist with trials on weapons and ammunition. | |
| The position is located at the LEA facility in Maribyrnong and on site parking is available. The position is available to commence work immediately and attendance is flexible and can be negotiated at either 3, 4 or 5 days per week. | |
