Regional Information
Unique
The reason as to why the Northern Region is so unqiue is that it spans from the North of Western Australia, otherwise known as the Kimberley Region, as well as the entire state of the Northern Territory.
The majority of the reserve soldiers are posted to the Regional Force Surveillance Unit (North West Mobile Force (NORFORCE)) and the soldiers fall into five service types. They are:
- Active Reserve
- Regional Force Surveillance List
- Continuous Full Time Service
- Standby Reserves
- Local Observer Element
