Butterworth Boys

GNR Tom Scantlebury and GNR Kim Thompson have returned from their 3 months overseas training in Malaysia and Thailand.
Tom said he had a terrific time and the main lesson learnt was what teamwork and its value to Army training was all about.
In the three months he and Kimbo were able to see some of the sights and enjoyed their time meeting soldiers from other countries after their tough training regime in Darwin.
Fantastic stuff you blokes and welcome back to the Battery.
Tom supplied the photos which had to be cropped from the many hundreds he took over there.
"We had some unreal experiences and I would recommend it to any young Army Reserve Digger to volunteer if they get the chance. Being in Artillery was a bonus learning the Infantry tactics and to use various weapons."
