RCB 85, made up largely of 2 CAV REGT and supported by other 1 Bde personnel is currently deployed to Malaysia.
The three month rotation will see them exercise in and around Butterworth, a stint to the Malaysian Jungle Training Centre and an exercise in Singapore.

Welcome to the 2nd/30th Training Group website.
Whether you are deploying to Malaysia as a member of the Rifle Company Butterworth (RCB) or as a staff member of the 2nd/30th Training Group you will find all the necessary information here.
This website is designed to allow deploying commanders and personnel to conduct a smooth rotation into RCB with as few surprises as possible. We trust that this information will assist you in being prepared for all tasks on arrival and make the most of your time here.
