Unit Mission

As part of the 5th Brigade, 23 Field Regiment is trained to provide High Readiness Reserve and Ready Reserve Force elements, individual Operations round outs and reinforcements to the 3rd Brigade in order to support Australian Defence Force operations both in Australia and overseas.
