What can you do as a member of
23 Field Regiment?
We have a wide variety of jobs available like:
Gun Number (Artillery Operator) - The people who actually work and fire the Big Guns
These are the people who are the heart and soul of the unit, the men who operate these guns must be fit, tough and dependable. They can be called in any time, day or night to provide indirect fire support when and where it's needed most.


Forward Observer - The people who direct where the bombs land.
The eyes of the Regiment coordinate all forms of Joint Offensive Fire power and are members of our Joint Offensive Support Teams. They are the ones who control and direct fire onto targets. They can control and coordinate Artillery Fire, Naval Gun Fire, Attack Helicopters, Fast Attack Aircraft and Close Air Support assets.


Transport Driver- The way our Guns and people get into position.
Our transport drivers are a key asset to the regiment and Artillery Drivers are widely know to be the best trained and most capable off road drivers around. They are responsible for towing our guns into position or delivering our people anywhere, any time. No matter where, when or how hard it is to get there, they'll get it done.



Combat Medical Assistant - Our fixer-uppers.
These highly trained individuals are key in ensuring that we stay fighting fit and healthy no matter what. They are instrumental in making sure we are up to the challenges of keeping our artillery in action. They are trained and qualified in combat first aid, advanced medical knowledge and casualty supervision or management.
Operator Supply - "To the Warrior, his arms."
Our Supply Operators are key in ensuring that we as a Regiment are able to do our job. They are the ones who control and manage the distribution of ammunition, supervise and monitor our equipment issues and ensure we are equipped and ready to achieve whatever mission we are tasked with.

Clerk Administration / Pay Clerk - To the Soldiers, their pay and administration.
The Admin Clerk is the back bone of the military. They are the key data input, information managers and readiness monitors that ensure the machine works smoothly. They are also responsible for our pay and entitlements.
