Anzac Day 2009

25 April 2009
OP Slipper Kandahar dawn service

Australia's contribution to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan is an important component of the Australian Government's commitment to working together with the international community to help prevent acts of terrorism around the world. Australia's commitment to Operation SLIPPER currently includes force elements stationed at Kandahar Airfield in CAMP BAKER. Australian personnel and other coalition forces attended an Anzac Day dawn service at CAMP BAKER on 25 April 2009.
