ANZAC Day 2008
28 April 2008 A Horse Troop and a restored World War II military jeep were on display at the school, providing students with a living memory of NORFORCE's traditions and history. The historical display also offered students a local sense of the ANZAC tradition. Commanding Officer of NORFORCE Lieutenant Colonel Mick Rozzoli gave a keynote address to the school, explaining the significance of ANZAC Day to younger students, while strengthening the understanding with the more senior ones. NORFORCE have had a long history of engagement with Northern Territory Communities, and in particular, The Holy Family School of Karama. |
