ANZAC Day 2004
| 23
April 2004 Anzac Day in the Solomon Islands Australian Defence Force personnel currently deployed in the Solomon Islands on Operation Anode commemorate Anzac Day 2004 by taking part in the traditional dawn service held at the Australian and New Zealand War memorial in Honiara. Anzac Day for the ADF is about honoring those who have served and given their lives in the service of the nation. It’s a day of Commemoration and Reflection. The ADF has a fine history of military service to Australia that dates back more than 100 years. For ADF personnel currently deployed to the Solomon Islands, working side by side with New Zealand troops ensures the proud tradition of the Anzacs is alive today. |
