 Training Centre

Training Centre is responsible for the provision of individual joint training and education for ADF and selected overseas forces staff. The Training Centre also assists with the training of joint headquarters staff for operations.

The Training Centre is structured to provide general education and job-specific training in the concepts of joint warfare. Approximately forty courses, seminars or study periods are run during the year, reaching more than two thousand participants. The training program covers six broad joint warfare categories:

  • General,
  • Maritime,
  • Specialist,
  • Overseas,
  • Study Periods, and
  • Seminars/Conferences.

Calls for nominations will normally be made 12 weeks before, and nominations close 8 weeks before, course start date. Queries with respect to calls for nominations are to be made to the appropriate Service panelling authority
