Since 2001, the Australian Defence Force Parliamentary Program has successfully provided parliamentarians with a unique and enjoyable insight into service life in the Australian Defence Force. Additionally, the opportunity for serving Australian Defence members to gain placements in parliamentary offices has been particularly valuable.

MR Lindsay is taking part in the ADF Parliamentary Program, visiting defence units in order to experience life in the ADF first hand. The exchange program also gives selected ADF personnel a chance to step into the shoes of our Senators and MP's.

The Australian Defence Force Parliamentary Program has, since its inception in 2001, proven to be popular among Senators and Parliamentary Members from both sides of Government who have been eager to gain a better appreciation for the work of the young men and women within our Defence Forces.
