Programs on offer at UNSW@ADFA are open to members of the public, Australian Defence Force personnel and international students. Students studying at UNSW@ADFA, gain all the advantages of studying with one of Australia 's largest, most well-established and research intensive tertiary institutions. All degrees are awarded by The University of New South Wales, a member of Australia 's Group of Eight institutions and a member of Universitas 21.

Admission into undergraduate programs
For UNSW@ADFA ‘advanced students’ (AAA, RAN and ARA SEA Scheme) who have not completed a tertiary package in year 12 a TAFE Qualification (Defence issued Vocational Education and training (VET) qualification), is used to derive an admissions rank for admission into an undergraduate program. Please note a TAFE qualification is not for credit towards the Undergraduate degree.
