Red Nose Day

A sea of red swept over the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) as hundreds of Midshipmen and Officer Cadets donned red noses in support of SIDS and Kids annual Red Nose Day.
ADFA’S Community Service Voluntary Extra Curricular Activity sold red noses and held a red-themed morning tea to help raise awareness and funds for SIDS and Kids.
Although the official date for Red Nose Day is 26 June, Midshipmen and Officer Cadets marked the event by wearing reds on 9 June during a rehearsal for the annual Executive Officer’s parade.
SIDS and Kids are dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood.
SIDS and Kids provide an array of free services to Australian families combating the trauma of sudden infant death.
ADFA will donate all proceeds raised to this worthy case.
