The ADFA Open Day will be held from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday 29 August 2009.
Open Day is a chance for school students, parents and the local community to see a range of exciting military displays and learn everything they need to know about life at ADFA.
You can see ADFA Midshipmen and Officer Cadets completing the above pool obstacle course, undertaking physical training, abseiling and rock climbing, and practicing military self defence. ADFA bands will also perform live music throughout the day, and the Navy, Army and Air Force will show you through helicopters, explain clearance diving procedures, and show you an aerial view of ADFA.
Defence and University of New South Wales staff will be able to provide course and careers advice to potential candidates and their families. Navy Midshipmen, Army and Air Force Officer Cadets will also be available to talk to you about their life at ADFA and conduct personalised tours. They can give you a first hand account of their military and academic studies and experience.
There is no better opportunity to experience our unique institution. If you are considering a career in the Navy, Army or Air Force then Open Day is your chance to find out all you need to know.
