ADFA Squash Club

One of the Academy's newest VECAs, we give squash enthusiasts of all levels of skill and experience the opportunity to play on a regular basis in a social and relaxed environment. The pennant component of the VECA is based around the concept of flexibility. Members are allocated a draw for each season and encouraged to play at a time and date that fits into their academic and military schedule. For those with a more relaxed attitude toward the game, the VECA coordinates occasional social tournaments and events that allow members to interact with others who share their interests.

For the more competitive players, the VECA provides opportunities for formal coaching, referee accreditation and participation in the local Canberra competition. Furthermore, the VECA's annual tour to the ADF National Squash Championships provides members with the opportunity to test their skills against the best in the Defence Force and even the chance to represent Defence at the Arafura games.

The ADFA squash VECA is a great opportunity for staff and cadets alike to stay active and get involved in one of the most fast-paced and challenging sports at the Academy.
