Study at one of the world's top universities

Officer Cadet Joshua Kam

Coming out of school I thought uni might be harder because of the higher level of learning. I also thought that the lecturers and staff wouldn't have the time to take interest in individual students. However all of my lecturers and tutors are friendly and have a lot of experience behind them which means that they know the subject matter inside out.

Tutorial discussions on current events are also great. They take the theory out of the textbook, and remind us of the practical applications of what we're learning.

"UNSW@ADFA allows you to mix and match courses so you'll always have something a little different to keep things interesting."

The Business program at UNSW@ADFA provided the flexibility that I wanted. I've been able to learn another language and study outside the business school in history and politics. At the same time I've had the focus of the business degree to provide a firm grounding in management and accounting, as well as in depth study in economics and finance.

There's a big emphasis on working as a team and being able to produce results with people you may at first be unfamiliar with. At times working in groups can be frustrating, but its good experience and realistic preparation for our future careers.

Because we live, learn and work together, the student body at ADFA becomes a very close knit group. The friends you make at ADFA will last a lifetime.
