Undergraduate Study Opportunities - Other Ranks

The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) offers full time undergraduate study programs to selected other ranks personnel seeking to transfer to commissioned rank.

Every year former sailors, soldiers and airmen/airwomen enrol in a range of degree programs through UNSW@ADFA.  They are able to focus on their studies in a tri-Service environment which fosters networks that enhance Defence capability and operational effectiveness, particularly in the joint environment.

Members who are interested in pursuing undergraduate study opportunities should discuss their options with their career management agency. In addition to applying for a Service transfer to ADFA, members must meet the university entry requirements for their chosen study program.
