Members of the Australian Command and Staff College visited Exercise Stuart’s Gauntlet with Adelaide-based 1 Brigade in March for a demonstration designed to educate our future leaders about the capabilities and strengths of the brigade.

The Australian Command and Staff College Course falls at the mid point of the Australian Defence College’s education continuum. It is designed for military and public service members who are at the mid-stage of their career, preparing them to be the next generation of senior leaders.

The Australian National University is partnered with Defence to provide the academic program for the year long course. There are 162 course members, 46 of those are international students. The majority will graduate with a Masters in Military Studies.
