Role

The DSM provides professional educational advice and services to support CJETW.

Functions

The DSM:

• Co-ordinates external registration and accreditation of JETWC and its courses
• Benchmarks JETWC against foreign defence colleges
• Develops Memoranda of Understanding with foreign defence colleges
• Provides Alumni services
• Manages the publishing program that showcases the work of JETWC course members and promotes debate on important national and international defence and security matters
• Maintains the Research Topic Master List
• Co-Chairs the ADFA Research Committee
• Administers the Defence Writing Manual, Glossary and Symbology Project
• Undertakes projects to promote professional mastery
