Joining Instructions
The International Liaison Office (ILO) provides all overseas course
members studying at the Australian Defence College with advice
and assistance on various personal administration matters.

Management of the invitation
process for members;
-
Management of the community
sponsorship program;
-
Coordination of students at
language training;
-
Coordination of housing and
furniture arrangements for members;
-
Management and administration
of the payment of DCP funded allowances and all other financial
aspects relating to members;
-
Provision of advice and assistance
on education options for children and language training for
spouses;
-
Provision of advice and assistance
on immigration issues;
-
Preparation of overseas course
members joining instructions;
-
Coordination and management
of the ACSC and CDSS Overseas Course Members Orientation Program
;

Liaison with various agencies
eg DIMIA, Education Department, DHA;
-
Liaison with Australian Embassy
staff overseas and country representatives at Embassies and
High Commissions in Australia ; and
-
Coordination of return home
procedures.
