Practice Management's role is to act as the centre of excellence for education and training curriculum development. Practice Management ensures organisational wide compliance with legislative, regulatory, policy, and internal requirements that govern education and training in Defence and develop, implement and maintain the Defence education and training evaluation strategy and supporting framework.

To achieve this role, Practice Management has four sections as follows:

• Education Assistance Schemes
• Management of Joint Training
• Defence Writing Manual & Australian Defence Glossary
• Performance and Evaluation
